There is an unexplainable obsession towards a Father whom I've never physically met, a weird trust and belief in one who allows me to experience trying moments of "Get up, pick up your mat and walk!" (John 5:8). Where no beds of roses are given, there is still no doubt He loves me immeasurably more than I can ever ask of Him. This is my passion for daddy God, my all desire.

The lyrics of this song tell of why anyone would seek Daddy God and be head over heels with Him. We seek Him, find Him, love Him.... Sit at His feet , drink from His cup .... Feel His heartbeat. The depth of this love melts us, it far surpasses what we can give to Him, which He does not demand or require of us anyway. He loves, He heals, He restores, He leads us to freedom through repentance. This love is so DEEP.
Many times we misunderstand that being passionate about God just means going all the way out to be a serving child, a giving child, committing to serving in multiple ministries, where the giving up of our life to doing things for Jesus, sacrificing time and family becomes more like an egoistic demand that leaves us doubting if truly He deserves our praise. Daddy God's intention for us is totally misunderstood. He does not need us to do anything for Him. All our giftings, our uniqueness were created by Him. He is self sufficient and more than able.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
God desires us to be passionate for Him, or be in love with Him, and to follow Him wholeheartedly, including serving Him. Why so? He loves us too much and it's only by desiring our attention, love and dedication, can He reveal His heartbeat and plans for us. We need to communicate! We need to spend time together! Through service, we can witness the Grace of God, His miracles, His power and His love for others, through us, that will keep us secure and trusting always in Him. He cares to take time to mould us and discipline us as we follow after Him. He leads us into living fruitful, safe and saved lives as we depend on Him and worship Him with all our heart, our soul and our strength. God is not interested in what we do, He is obsessed with us, His children. He loves us. His love leads us to repentance and a greater transformation that brings us unexplainable joy.
As we love the Lord, we are being loved. As we serve Him, we are loved through his gentle discipline and shaping. We lose nothing, but gain much, we are filled till overflow as we are being emptied.
My passion for God is my response towards His love for me. For I know that the most precious gift God has ever given is for me to love Him with the love that is His due.
